Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE]  |  Last Updated: August 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the chauffeured transportation, reservation, and related services (the "Services") offered by Lid Executive Limousine Services ("Lid Executive," "we," "us," or "our"), including services booked through our website, by phone, by email, or by text message. By requesting a quote, making a reservation, riding in one of our vehicles, or otherwise using our Services, you ("you," "Client," or "Passenger") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of another person or group, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person or group to these Terms and that you accept responsibility for their compliance.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Lid Executive provides chauffeured executive transportation services, including but not limited to airport transfers, corporate travel, special events, hourly charter, and point-to-point transportation, using company-owned or company-contracted vehicles and licensed, insured chauffeurs.

Vehicle availability, make/model, and specific chauffeur assignment are subject to change based on operational needs, maintenance, and availability. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a comparable substitute vehicle of equal or greater class if your originally requested vehicle is unavailable.

3. Reservations & Booking

Reservations may be made through our website, by phone at [INSERT PHONE NUMBER], by email at [INSERT BOOKING EMAIL], or by text message where our SMS program is available. A reservation is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Lid Executive in writing (email, text, or written receipt).

  • You are responsible for providing accurate pickup location, drop-off location, date, time, number of passengers, and any special requests at the time of booking.
  • Quoted fares are based on the information provided at booking. Additional charges may apply for extra stops, additional wait time, extra passengers beyond vehicle capacity, or changes to the original itinerary.
  • We recommend booking airport pickups with sufficient buffer time; Lid Executive is not responsible for delays caused by flight changes, traffic, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control, though we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule changes when notified promptly.

4. Cancellation, No-Shows & Refunds

Standard Cancellation Window: Reservations canceled at least [INSERT NUMBER] hours before scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund of any deposit or prepayment, unless otherwise noted for the specific service booked (e.g., weddings, proms, or multi-vehicle events may require longer notice).
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made after the applicable window may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to the full reservation amount.
  • No-Shows: If a chauffeur arrives at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time and the Passenger does not appear within the applicable grace period (typically 15 minutes for point-to-point service; longer for airport pickups per standard wait-time policy), the reservation will be treated as a no-show and charged in full.
  • Airport Wait Time: Complimentary wait time for airport pickups and any applicable additional wait charges will be disclosed at the time of booking or confirmed in your reservation confirmation.

5. Payment Terms

  • We accept payment by the methods listed at the time of booking, which may include major credit cards, corporate accounts, and other methods we designate.
  • Gratuity, fuel surcharges, tolls, parking, and applicable taxes may be added to your final invoice and will be disclosed prior to or at the time of booking where practicable.
  • A valid credit card or other payment method may be required to hold a reservation. You authorize Lid Executive to charge your payment method for the agreed fare, any additional charges incurred during the trip (e.g., extra stops, excessive wait time, cleaning fees for damage or excessive mess), and any applicable cancellation or no-show fees described above.
  • Corporate and account clients may be subject to separate invoicing terms as agreed in a signed corporate services agreement.

6. Passenger Conduct & Responsibilities

Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a lawful and respectful manner while using our Services. Lid Executive reserves the right to terminate a trip without refund, and to refuse future service, in cases including but not limited to:

  • Illegal activity, including possession or use of illegal substances, within the vehicle;
  • Physical or verbal abuse, threats, or harassment directed at chauffeurs or staff;
  • Smoking inside the vehicle, where prohibited;
  • Exceeding the vehicle's rated passenger capacity;
  • Willful damage to the vehicle, which may result in additional cleaning or repair charges billed to the Passenger's payment method.

Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Lid Executive is not responsible for items left in a vehicle, though we will make reasonable efforts to return found items upon request.

7. Vehicles, Chauffeurs & Service Standards

All vehicles operated by Lid Executive are maintained in accordance with applicable state and local commercial transportation regulations, and all chauffeurs hold the licenses and endorsements required by the State of New Jersey and, where applicable, other jurisdictions in which we operate. Vehicle interiors and exteriors are inspected and cleaned on a regular basis consistent with our internal service standards.

8. Liability, Insurance & Disclaimers

Lid Executive maintains commercial automobile liability insurance in accordance with applicable New Jersey requirements for livery/limousine operations. Except as required by applicable law, Lid Executive's total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific reservation giving rise to the claim.

Lid Executive is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to missed flights, missed events, or business losses, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused directly by Lid Executive where such limitation is not permitted by law.

9. Force Majeure

Lid Executive is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform Services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, traffic accidents, civil unrest, acts of government, labor disputes, or mechanical failure that could not have been reasonably prevented through routine maintenance. In such cases, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify affected Clients and to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements where possible.

10. Text Messaging (SMS) Program & 10DLC Disclosures

Lid Executive offers an optional text messaging program to send trip-related communications, including booking confirmations, chauffeur/driver dispatch and arrival alerts, ETA updates, and reservation reminders ("Program"). This section discloses the terms of that Program in accordance with wireless carrier and CTIA (10DLC) messaging requirements.

10.1 Consent & Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number when booking a reservation, checking an SMS consent box on our website or booking form, or otherwise affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Lid Executive related to your reservation(s). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service, except that certain real-time dispatch/arrival alerts may only be available to Passengers enrolled in the Program.

10.2 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity (e.g., confirmation, reminder, and dispatch messages tied to each reservation). You should not expect a fixed number of messages per month.

10.3 Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lid Executive is not responsible for any charges billed by your wireless carrier.

10.4 How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send "STOP," we will send you a one-time confirmation text, and you will no longer receive messages from the Program. If you would like to rejoin, simply opt in again as described above, or contact us using the information in Section 14.

10.5 How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at [INSERT PHONE NUMBER] or [INSERT SUPPORT EMAIL].

10.6 Supported Carriers & Delivery

The Program is supported on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed, and Lid Executive is not liable for messages that are lost, delayed, or undelivered due to carrier network issues.

10.7 No Sharing of Opt-In Data for Marketing

No mobile information obtained through the Program will be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to provide the Services themselves (for example, our SMS delivery platform provider) or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

11. Privacy & Data Collection

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information — including contact details, reservation and ride history, payment information, website usage data, and SMS opt-in data — is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully before using our Services.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
